There is thousand years or little more,
I was recently done,
Four wizards of fame lived,
Whose whole names still know
The Valente Griffindor of the barren lands,
Beautiful Ravenclaw of the ravines,
Sweet Hufflepuff of the plains,
Astute Slytherin of the swamps.
They shared a desire, a dream,
A hope, a daring plan...

In old times, when I was new
And Hogwarts badly had begun
The founders of that noble school
They thought you/they would never separate:
United for a common objective, They had the same aspiration,
To do the best school of magic of the world

At the beginning, Slytherin
He/she caught only wizards of pure blood
Of great cunning, that nor to him,

But then the discord grew among us
Feeding our flaws and fears.
And the houses, that as four pillars
They had held our school once,
Now they were turned an against the other,
Divided, they tried to dominate.
And for a time it seemed that the school
He/she would find a close end,
The one that with duels and fights
And the friends' collision with friends
It is then vein the morning
In that old Slytherin left
It is then the fight died
He left very hurt
It is never, from the four founders
That you/they were reduced to three,
They had the united houses
Like them once were.
